Laptop to the Doc. (Out of service update)

Firstly.. happy Halloween.

straight to da point...
Brought my laptop to the Doc. yesterday.... and it'll take em 3 days to figure out my prob... well that's because there is a queue. Sigh.. it will cost me AU$55 no matter what for the diagnose... and if i do decide to let them fix it up... he said it'll most prolly cost $140.

I'm praying that my HDD is alright because I've got so many important files inside...and was lazy not to copy it into my external HD. If my HDD is toast.... *knock on wood* it'll cost me AU$7 an hour for recovery... and it's not going to take 1 day to recover it.................... so.... $140 + $7/hr recovery x minimum 48 hrs = $140 + $336 = $476......... :( [at this moment AU$1 = RM3.11] ahhh!

seems like it's been bugging me forever... even thought it'z only been a day
gotta be optimistic.........................

other than that daylight savings had begun... so it's 3 hours faster than Msian time.

and also been working this whole week... have stopped about 3 weeks ago coz of assignments... so now my feet is freakin sore. ugh.... working to survive... literally

3rd post of the day

Just something I did a real long time ago when every one was crazy making thier simpson avatars... I made one of Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing himself... yeaps the big man of Limkokwing University. (I Graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design & Multimedia in LUCT back in 2004)

This can either be hilarious to him.. or the total opposite... no offense... it's just me doing silly stuff during my procrastinating periods when I'm suppose to be doing my assignments somewhere around August I think...

yea... got so much time up my sleeves... and why didn't i try to do my work... I guess I don't work that way.. only execute when the time comes... risky shit... but most of the times it goes my way :/

Just a little quickie

Just a little something my fren asked me to do for him, a movie poster to be inside his film assignment. did it in less than 2 hours from scratch with photoshop.

The fonts probably needs a change... imeant the actor's names, the tag and of course the director's name himself.

other than that the colours needed a change too...

but overall was doing a quickie and didnt wanna tweek it too much... so after 2 hours or so.... this it is the final...

not too bad eh?... u be da judge...

Out of Service!

Yeap... my laptop is officially out of service ...

was going to blog the other morning, but had to settle with something... then the next day I was editing pictures.. and didnt have mood to write... and then I fcked up teh systems.. by trying to fix up my bluetooth for my laptop... which i think eventually skrewed teh whole system up.. and now i cant even start my PC...

from Acer... to windows.. then resets and repeat~...

oh well.. typing this now on Poon's laptop...

can't be too long.. and no pictures again... SIGH...

k... gtg now.... am broke, am sick of it all.. and wht you gotta do when you're in this situation? go back to work and earn some money for survival :~~~ that's life...

life sux ATM... eventhough i've just finished my final semester and i'm going to graduate in a months time...

i've been living nocturnally for this past week.. coz doing my assignments during the wee hours in morning is very serene than the busy hours of the day...

furthermore, summer's around the corner, so the days are getting longer so i don't have much of a time to do my work in the dark...

It finally comes to an end by 9.30am 22nd October 2007

and i will be free~~~ hopefully pass all my work (i have to coz my parents already booked tickets down here for my graduation ceremony on 12th December 2007)

should have been a UCE graduate (University of Central England now known as Birmingham City University, BCU)
